Steven Sherman, MD.

Steven Sherman, MD.

Steven M. Sherman, M.D. is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with over 25 years of experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University and completed a Master's degree at New York Medical College. Dr. Sherman did his residency in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center. Upon completing his residency, he was hired as an attending physician in a 750+ bed skilled nursing facility. Subsequently, he joined Aspen Medical Associates, a multi-specialty private practice in Teaneck, NJ. During his 22-year tenure, he advanced to become a Senior Partner in the practice, which grew to over a dozen physicians serving thousands of patients. In 2017, Dr. Sherman relocated to Florida and worked in a wellness center in Boynton Beach. Later, in 2020, he moved his practice north to the Wellington area, joining the staff at Wellington Regional Medical Center as a hospitalist.

Rachel Smith, APRN.

Rachel Smith is originally from Saginaw, Michigan, where she began her patient care journey in 2008 as a nursing assistant. She earned her Associate's degree from Mitchell Community College before continuing her education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree. In 2011, she moved to North Carolina and became a Registered Nurse. While working as an RN, she pursued her Master's in Family Health Nursing at Winston- Salem State University, graduating with honors in 2017. She previously worked in Norfolk, Virginia, before relocating to Florida with her family in 2021.

Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Rachel has developed a strong clinical background in Family Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, Wound Care, and Rheumatology.

When she is not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also loves animals and has a 12-year-old Australian Shepherd Lab mix named Buddy and a Maine Coon Tabby mix named Mooche. She enjoys reading, baking, and kayaking.
